Years after its release, fans still clamor for the mythical “Snyder Cut,” while the DC Universe becomes more fractured and another super-team-up feels-charitably-years away. executives, all of whom can’t help but wonder if a better version of the film that made its way into theaters could have existed. Justice League is still very much on the mind of DC fans and, for that matter, Warner Bros. I dont think i need to list some examples for the 2 films we know how bad they were.I don’t envy Star Wars writer Chris Terrio, who in the span of just two year has released perhaps two of the most widely debated films in the history of the internet. Last jedi and rise of skywalker had some great acting but the Characters were flat with barely any development and the writing was terrible. How the hell does Rey completely outmatches ben solo in a fight when he was trained in the way of the force for a decade, mentored by Luke Skywalker and is the grandson of Anakin skywalker just because she is the daughter of clone of Paplatine? Thats where the film lost me completly Him getting wrecked 100% but then he never uses the lightsaber again so why was he framed like that with the promotion?

The other thing that made it a bad movie to me was that one the poster they bait black kids like me into thinking we will see a new black jedi with that poster only to see him pick it up and get wrecked. Showed that Han solo had regressed to back to being a selfsih guy leaving his wife and abandoning his kid and then proceeding to give him such an underwhelming deah-Killed by his own son. The lack of cohesion just makes it even worseħ was decent (objectively speakin) at best but to me PERSONALLY i thought it was bad. Yep some are worse than others but they are all bad movies. But God this film was so awful I had just had to vent that out. Everything else they’ve done outside the sequels has given me some hope and renewed my interest in the franchise. Hopefully disney continues to plan things with Star Wars from here on out. Worst of all though is the complete removal of any authenticity or meaning from the entire trilogy and its characters.

And it completely breaks the canon and the wonderful conclusion of Return of the Jedi and everything else leading up to that movie. Palpatine returning makes no sense, they should’ve let Ben be the main villain. The bond between Rey and Poe is completely forced. The Rise of Skywalker is a complete mess where it feels like Disney is forcing its way into very corner of creative possibility. Chemistry between characters worked, there was meaning and emotion behind the action making it more engaging. But at least that movie offered something that was somewhat original. Though Last Jedi made some controversial decisions like making Luke a cynical hermit, and my least favorite favorite decision: not letting Finn sacrifice himself. I rewatched the entire Sequel trilogy for the first time and to my surprise I thought Force Awakens and the Last Jedi were pretty descent movies.
